Burberry

The September Show and Here We Are Exhibition

This September, Location House were lucky enough to work with Burberry, sourcing the incredible Old Sessions House for their London Fashion Week show and landmark exhibition.

Taking inspiration from their creative brief, our Director Rosie Solomon found the perfect historic architecture to complement Burberry’s new collection in Old Sessions House, the Grade-II listed former courthouse in Clerkenwell possessed both the size and grandeur to meet the needs of Burberry’s team.

In a show that was widely described as a ‘celebration of heritage’, models walked through this iconic building wearing a variety of quintessentially British looks. Creative knits were partnered with unconventional fabrics, military jackets were transformed into mini-skirts and tartan trousers highlighted a new youthful punk-influence.

Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey curated a major photographic exhibition entitled Here We Are; a show that displayed and celebrated the work of over thirty social and documentary photographers including Ken Russell and Alasdair McLellan.
