Icon’s House of Culture

Clerkenwell Design Week 2015

Clerkenwell Design Week 2015 celebrated the very best of contemporary design and creativity with special projects and installations all over London. Newly-commissioned projects and pop-up workshops provided visitors with an opportunity to be inspired and learn more about what’s new in the exciting world of design.

This year’s festival also witnessed the introduction of Icon’s House of Culture, which was located in none other than our own Georgian Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green. This new addition housed a collection of leading and cultural conscious furniture brands, interior companies, art and film pieces, and all created by a range of established and emerging names from both the design and architecture worlds. In particular, it featured a curated selection of top European brands; from Fritz Hansen and Vitra, to Artemide, Gubi, Pinch, Timorous Beasties, Morose and Another Brand.

Sessions House provided the perfect meeting hub and working space throughout the festival, facilitating film screenings, talks with the leading designers and architects as well as an exclusive cafe CRU Kafe.
